Vandana ji made her dream come true in her first attempt at the age of 24. She was the first girl in Hindi medium.
Vandana never went out of her house, like an ascetic monk, she kept studying only and only after being locked in her room, she did not even know the way to her house and the streets of the locality, she used to see her destination just like Arjuna.
Vandana never installed a cooler in her room, she believed that sleep comes in coolness and comfort, she used to study in sweat so that she does not sleep. For a year, the people of her family did not realize her existence, she did not allow anyone to disturb her, only the civil service was her world.
birth and schooling
Vandana Choudhary was born on April 4, 1989 in a very traditional family in the village of Nasrullagarh, Haryana. His father's name is Mahipal Singh Chauhan and mother's name is Mithilesh. Vandana's family did not have the practice of teaching girls, Vandana's early education was done in the government school of the village.
Vandana was meritorious from the beginning, while the girls in her family were not taught much, she used to tell her father that when will you send me to study.
After the sixth class, Vandana went to study in a girls' gurukul near Moradabad. The rules there were very strict, one had to live in strict discipline as well as wash his own clothes, clean the room and even help in cooking twice a month.
After studying in Gurukul till class XII, Vandana studied law by staying at home but never went to college to take the exam with her father.

It was only after the tenth that Vandana had decided her destination, she would read the interviews of toppers in competitive magazines and keep their cuttings with her. If I would make a list of books, sometimes by asking my brother and sometimes I would get the books online.
Vandana used to study for about 12-14 hours every day, if she started falling asleep, she used to study on the go.
Vandana prepared for civil services in a year without any coaching, without guidance and without any friend preparing for IAS and secured eighth position in 2012.
Nowadays Vandana Chaudhary is posted as the DM of Rudraprayag, before that she was the Chief Development Officer of Pithoragarh.
